Is how you pronounce ’Iao Valley, “valley of dawning inspiration.” It’s a lovely, lush valley that cuts into the volcanic cone that forms West Mau’i. Once reserved for Hawaiian royalty, it is now the home of a number of botanical gardens and exporters.
